Designed for large-scale photovoltaic testing, this High-Precision Solar PV Testing Rotary Platform provides precise and programmable angular positioning for evaluating solar power generation performance under different solar orientations.
The platform is designed with a large-diameter table and high load capacity, allowing photovoltaic mounting structures and inverters to be installed directly on the rotating platform. The platform can operate at ultra-low speeds from 0.01 to 0.1 rpm and perform adjustable 2–10° step rotations, making it suitable for high-precision photovoltaic power generation testing.

1. Large-Diameter Platform for Large-Scale PV Testing
The rotary platform features a large working surface with a diameter of up to 8.5 m, providing sufficient space for mounting photovoltaic support structures, solar modules and associated testing equipment. The heavy-duty design supports large-scale outdoor PV testing applications.
2. Heavy Load Capacity
With a rated load capacity specified at up to 8,500 kg in the equipment requirements, the platform is designed to accommodate heavy photovoltaic structures, inverters and related testing equipment while maintaining stable rotary operation.
3. High-Precision Servo Rotation
The platform uses a Siemens V90 servo motor and servo-driven rotation system to achieve precise low-speed movement. The programmable rotation speed can be set from 0.01 to 0.1 rpm, allowing controlled testing under different solar orientations.
4. Programmable 2–10° Step Rotation
The rotation angle can be programmed in 2–10° increments, with an angle error of ≤±0.5°. Operators can set the rotation direction, angle and operating time through the control system, enabling repeatable photovoltaic angle testing.
5. Customized Electrical Slip Ring
A customized electrical slip ring is integrated into the rotating system, allowing power, communication and DC cables to pass through the center of the platform. This design helps maintain electrical connections during continuous bidirectional rotation and supports integrated PV testing equipment.
6. Bidirectional 360° Rotation
The platform supports programmable forward and reverse rotation with a rotation range of ±360°. This enables photovoltaic testing from different orientations without requiring manual repositioning.
7. MODBUS RS485 Communication
The rotary platform is equipped with an RS485 communication interface and supports the MODBUS RS485 protocol, allowing integration with external control systems and other photovoltaic testing equipment.
