5 Ton Mechanical Transformer Coil Upender | 90 Degree Tilter & Upending Machine

The 5-Ton Mechanical Transformer Coil Upender is an industrial-grade, pit-mounted 90° tilting machine custom-designed for power transformer coil manufacturing. It features dual-layer adjustable V-blocks lined with 15mm non-marring phenolic boards to secure coils up to Ø1400 mm without copper winding damage. Driven by an SEW motor with Mitsubishi VFD control, it delivers smooth soft-start/stop motion and multi-position self-locking. For maximum safety, the system includes interlocked perimeter fencing, emergency auto-cutoff doors, and foldable anti-tipping pallet support claws.

Features

Dedicated Non-Marring Protection for Transformer Coils: The surface of the V-shaped support blocks is laminated with 15mm thick phenolic resin cloth board. This high-density protective material prevents metal-to-metal contact, protecting expensive copper windings from scratches or structural distortion.
Flexible & Adjustable Dual V-Block Layout: Equipped with 2 columns of 3-tier V-blocks featuring a double-layer angle structure (155° bottom / 95° top) mounted on T-slot grooves. The design accommodates various coil diameters up to 1400mm and elevated lead configurations up to 2500mm.
Smooth VFD Acceleration & Brake Self-Locking: Integrated with a Mitsubishi variable frequency inverter and SEW brake motor. Allows precise speed tuning, soft starting/stopping, and instantaneous locking at any angle during the 90° rotation cycle.
Interactive Foldable Pallet Support System: Includes foldable, height-adjustable, and detachable pallet claws to support pallets ranging from 800×800mm up to 1200×1200mm, ensuring zero tilt-over when rotating sideways.
Full Perimeter Safety Enclosure: Comes with a 1200mm high protective mesh fence. Opening the inward-opening gate automatically trips the system and halts machine movement immediately, requiring a manual reset before restarting operation.
